Diversity Week(s) recap:
Building awareness through Dialogue and Practice

At AstorMueller, Diversity Week is a regular initiative that gives us the space to reflect on how we work together, challenge assumptions, and learn from each other’s perspectives. It’s part of our broader commitment to building a workplace where inclusion is more than a principle, it’s part of our daily interactions.

#UnitedbyDiversity: A Look Back at 2025

The Power of Safe Environments

During the year, dedicated sessions have enabled a deeper exploration of key themes.

  • Trust, Transparency, and Psychological Safety in Action
Focused on creating environments where individuals feel safe to share ideas, ask questions, and be themselves
  • Empathetic Communication and Authenticity in Practice
Explored how communication styles impact team dynamics, and how to stay respectful and clear when working across differences.

Focus Areas and Conversations

On our regular Diversity Week(s) we prompt open, honest conversations on topics such as:

  • How stereotypes shape perceptions – intentionally or not
  • Why labels often limit rather than clarify
  • How cultural norms – from feedback styles to time management—are often rooted in lived experiences, not just professional habits.

Our talents are encouraged to ask questions, reflect on personal biases, and better understand the role of diversity in team collaboration and problem-solving.

Diversity Week is one of several ways we keep DEI work active and visible. These conversations are ongoing, and we will continue to provide opportunities to build awareness, foster inclusion, and ensure everyone feels respected and valued.

“Diversity & Inclusion is not a one-week program – it is a lifetime commitment of our company and our way to further success. This feeling resonates across our organization, reminding us that our commitment to diversity and inclusion is fundamental to our success and growth. Together, we will continue to build an inclusive work environment where every talent can thrive and where our diverse perspectives drive our shared success.”
