Primary responsibility of this role is to drive the implementation and adoption of applications core to AstorMueller’s business. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between internal business users and internal IT/core vendors. The Product Owner is also responsible for planning, design, development, and deployment of information and software systems to cover the business operations for which the role covers.

• Engage and collaborate with business leads to organize and deliver clear, specific requirements aligned to the business objectives;
• Work with the business leads and initiate solution discussions regarding new business requirements, collectively support and sponsor business process improvement;
• Take lead to communicate with business in order to analyze business processes, perform fit gap analysis, develop design specifications, clarify requirements and determine the scope of required solution;
• Take responsibility for the technical input to the cutover/deployment plan from both a business and solutions perspective;
• Provide support and guidance to business project team members, end users and stakeholders;
• Provide thought leadership within the team demonstrating an in-depth functional knowledge of applications;
• Lead and participate in testing of the completed solution;
• Manage customer expectations regarding the solution whilst ensuring the maximum use of the software;
• Act as intermediary with partners to provide 2nd level assistance to the support team in the evaluation and resolution of issues of a functional nature

• Advanced understanding of system architecture and knowledge of software development concepts;
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area;
• Experience in ERP systems is a must (SAP or Microsoft Dynamics);
• 5+ years of relevant work experience;
• Advanced knowledge of modeling techniques (e.g., UML) and use case development as well as experience with one or more software development frameworks;
• Understanding and application of Agile concepts such as Scrum/SAFe, Agile workflow methodologies;
• Ability to prioritize, escalate and lead efforts on complex customer requests;
• Experience working with agile teams on complex projects;
• Possess a deep understanding of the business processes behind the applications;
• Deep understanding of business and technology processes as well as software integration and implementation;
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Romanian, including process documentation;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills
