Integration Architect is responsible for the planning, coordination, development, and supervision of all activities related to the integration of applications, and third-party solutions to meet business requirements. The integration needs are primarily focused on connecting on- premises and cloud-based commercial software applications for which AstorMueller depend. Integration Architect is responsible for developing and maintaining an application integration architecture strategy for the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop system integration standards, versioning control and an integrations governance framework;
- Develop and maintain the technology stack, this includes commercially available integration platforms;
- Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, including integration best practices;
- Oversee all integration developments to ensure development/integration standards are met;
- Provide oversight in standards adherence through regular reviews of project work including detailed technical specifications and application code;
- Work with project teams in definition of requirements for integration strategies of their projects;
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution;
- Effectively communicate project status to IT team leads;
- Manage internal resources as well as augmented or externally sourced team members;
- Partner with project team members (internal/external) to ensure proposed solutions align with requirements;
- Analyze source systems and source system data to assess system constraints, data quality and gaps. Work with technical and business representatives to determine strategies for handling gaps/anomalies that are identified;
Your Profile
Knowledge
- Hands-on integration architecture experience including iPaaS, API Gateways, ETL, ESB, and related technologies (e.g. REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
- Strong understanding of integration tools like MuleSoft, and Dell Boomi, with proven experience in at least one of these middleware tools;
- Understanding of various Enterprise Integration Design Patterns, Standard Integration Content for on-premise and cloud applications;
- Understanding of different authentication and authorization mechanisms used for HTTPS and SFTP communication like OAuth tokens, Certificate based authentication and Role based, Distinguished Name based authorization check;
- Strong understanding of integration platform sizing considering large batch sizes, incoming message size limits, message throughput for storage requirements, etc;
Skills and abilities
- Team player with strong team leadership skills, able to provide leadership and direction to members and business users of the system;
- Ability to draft accurate documentation that supports the project management effort and coding;
- Experience in implementing principles of project administration via formal methodology and utilizing the associated techniques and tools;
- Proficiency in implementing reliable, complex, secure, high performance and scalable solutions from manufacturing to productions;
Language: Fluent in Romanian and English
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience;
Experience: 5+ years of infrastructure engineering / designing experience recommending infrastructure solutions across multiple-platforms.
